What's New for the 2022 Ford Bronco?

The Ford Bronco has some great new features and improvements to look forward to in 2022. This year, the Bronco has an expanded lineup and more color options. A few new exterior paint colors are available with the 2022 Ford Bronco, and it also adds two more special edition trims to the lineup. You can also get a special edition package called Sasquatch, and you'll even have the option of a manual transmission this year with the Sasquatch Package.

2022 Bronco Trims & Features

The base model of the 2022 Ford Bronco is called the Essential Bronco. As the name suggests, this Bronco has all the essentials required for personalizing your vehicle, including a number of factory-installed accessories and fundamental items. While you'll get more luxury amenities with the higher-end models, the Essential has standard four-wheel drive and a removable roof and doors. You can get some options to dress up the trim, too, including 35-inch tires. The second trim is called the Big Bend. The Big Bend trim takes your off-road adventures to the next level with an available equipment package to enhance the Bronco's performance on-road and off. The cabin has some nice upgrades inside, including heated seats and a leather steering wheel. For those seeking more in the way of adventure in their next car, the Black Diamond model is a good bet. The Black Diamond has the Bronco's custom G.O.A.T system of driving modes, and it is built for rugged adventures with heavy-duty skid plates. The interior has marine-grade seats that are covered in vinyl, and the car has steel bumpers for extra durability. After the Black Diamond comes the Outer Banks model with LED lights in front and back. Glossy black wheels distinguish the Outer Banks from the exterior, and it also has signature lighting elements. Some features are available, including a larger 12-inch touchscreen display and a premium B&O audio system. The Badlands can also be equipped with several interior enhancements, including a full leather package. The Wildtrack gets 17-inch wheels and locking differentials. The lineup concludes with the First Edition, which has luxury appointments on the inside and a rugged build.

The Ford Bronco has multiple options for an engine in 2022. The base engine provides the SUV with 300-HP power output. A different engine powers the Wildtrak, which gets a V6 engine that uses a 10-speed automatic transmission.
