What's New For the 2021 Ford Super Duty?

The Ford Super Duty lineup includes the F-250, F-350, and F-450. All three are durable trucks designed for heavy-duty work and towing needs. In 2021 there are some minimal changes to each model of the Super Duty. The F-250 has some changes to feature availability across the lineup, and it has some new color choices for the exterior paint. The F-350 and F-450 are both now offered with a new bed step. The F-450 also now comes with heated mirrors designed for safer and more convenient towing.

Which Features Are Available for 2021?

The F-250 comes in six trim levels in 2021. The base trim is the XL, which covers all the basics, while you can get the range-topping Limited as the premium model with more luxuries. Onboard WiFi is included with the base trim of the F-250. You will also get a 4.2-inch display screen and a USB-C charge port. Chrome bumpers come with the XLT, an additional USB port, and an infotainment system with a larger eight-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Lariat builds on that list with leather seats, parking sensors, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system. The King Ranch gets trim-specific leather seats and LED bed lighting. With the Platinum comes 20-inch wheels and ventilated front seats. The F-350 has the same trim lineup with similar features. However, its base trim adds a backup camera, and leather seats are standard, beginning with the Lariat. The Limited gets two-tone leather seats, and you can order a special off-road package for any trim.

The F-450 also has six trims. The base trim has larger 19.5-inch wheels, and it also adds Bluetooth. The XLT gets the Co-Pilot 360 set of advanced safety aids. With the Lariat comes leather seats and a premium sound system. Remote start is included with the King Ranch.

Raw Power and Stellar Performance

The Ford Super Duty models have some of the same engine options. You can get a 6.2L gasoline engine with eight cylinders to start that produces 385 HP. The F-250 and F-350 have a top V8 engine with a 6.7L displacement that gets 475 HP and 1,050 LB-FT in torque. With the Ford F-450 comes the option of a turbo-diesel engine with a power output of 475 HP, and its maximum torque is 1,050 LB-FT. The Ford Super Duty tows up to 35,000 pounds.
