2021 Ford Ranger

What's New For the 2021 Ford Ranger?

The Ford Ranger gets some noteworthy changes in 2021, but most changes affect only certain trim levels. The Ranger's design and mechanical features are still unchanged from 2020, following the truck's recent return in 2019. The Ranger is a top-ranking midsize truck with the comfort of an SUV and a work truck's durability. A powerful engine provides good towing power and a responsive acceleration for the Ranger. Additionally, the Ranger also has a long list of features and notable safety technology. There are some updates for those who want a more off-road-ready truck in 2021, including the option for a Tremor off-roading package that gives the Ranger more exploration-worthy characteristics.

Which Features Are Available for 2021?

The 2021 Ford Ranger is made in three trim levels. The same three trims carry over from 2020, but there are more options on most this year. All trims seat five. Seating materials range from the cloth on the base trim, called the XL, to leather upholstery on the Lariat, which is the top trim level. The XL trim has a productivity screen that can be upgraded to a color display screen.

The XL has USB charging ports to keep your devices plugged in and ready. Wi-Fi is included on the XL, and you will have some base safety aids as well. Moving up to the second trim brings a standard eight-inch color touchscreen. The second trim improves in the area of sound as well with a six-speaker stereo. Keyless entry is included on the XLT, and it also gets navigation through a technology package. With the Lariat trim, you have multiple choices for wheel design, including several styles of 18-inch wheels. The Lariat adds navigation and a handful of safety aids.
