Ford Bronco Sport Becomes First Vehicle To Feature Parts Made of 100% Recycled Ocean Plastic 
Microplastics in the ocean can be extremely dangerous to our health, and we see about 13 million metric tons of plastic entering into the oceans yearly. Much of this ocean plastic comes from discarded fishing equipment. To contribute to the removal of this plastic, Ford is using recycled ocean plastic in the construction of parts used on the latest model of the Ford Bronco. Harness clips attached to a wiring harness system used for the airbag setup inside the side panels of the Bronco are constructed with used plastic collected from the Indian Ocean.
