What's New For the 2019 Ford Taurus?
The new Ford Taurus now features a power-adjustable steering wheel that was not available in its previous models. Ford has also done away with one of the iconic features of the model, the power rear sunshade. The new Ford Taurus builds on its six-generation model to give drivers a comfortable and quiet ride on the highway. Another major upgrade for the model is the introduction of a new color, Agate Black.

Ford Taurus is Impressive No Matter Which Trim Level You Choose
The 2019 Ford Taurus is available in four trim levels: SE, SEL, Limited, and SHO. The model is a large family sedan car that has generous features. The base trim level SE comes with keyless entry, cloth upholstery, aluminum wheels, SYNC smartphone integrate with a 4.2-inch display, one USB port, hands-free connectivity, and a six-speaker stereo. Ford MyKey feature is optional.
The SEL adds trim standard features like a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a remote start, a dual-zone auto climate control, rear parking sensors, and satellite radio. The 201A package has a push-button start, SYNC 3 infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and proximity keyless entry.

The SHO trim features a twin-turbo EcoBoost engine, a sport-tuned suspension, and all-wheel drive as standard. There is an optional SHO performance package offering upgraded features like brakes, tires, and suspension. The Driver Assist package, a moonroof, and navigation are also optional for the SHO.
2019 Ford Taurus Performance
The 2019 Ford Taurus comes with a standard 3.5 L V-6 engine with a horsepower of 288 and 254 pound-feet of torque. The engine is coupled with six-speed auto transmission with front-wheel drive as standard while all-wheel drive is an option. For more power, buyers have the option of buying the high-performance model known as Taurus SHO. The high-performance model features a 3.5 L twin-turbocharged V-6 engine. The SHO has a horsepower of 365 and a torque of 350 pound-feet. The FWD model has a combined fuel economy of 19 mpg with a 17 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. The AWD model offers better fuel economy since it has a combined EPA rating of 21 mpg with 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway.

The standard safety features for the model include an active park assist, a blind spot information system, and a collision warning with brakes.
