What's New For the Ford Fiesta
With a turbocharged engine, a sportier look, more standard amenities, and the latest in technology, there is a lot that is new and exciting in the 2019 Ford Fiesta. What's even more impressive is that this year's Fiesta comes in 10 exterior paint colors. You have a choice of seven interior trim designs too, which gives you plenty of options for creating the perfect color scheme.
The Fiesta is available in both a manual and an automatic transmission. There are two body styles of this year's Fiesta, which are a sedan and a hatchback. Both seat five passengers, but the hatch style offers slightly more cargo space. No matter which of the four trim levels you choose, it's hard to go wrong with any version of the 2019 Fiesta.

2019 Fiesta Trims & Features
There are four trim levels in the 2019 Ford Fiesta. The base model, which comes in a sedan version, is called the S. The S includes a 12V USB charging port in the front, air conditioning, cloth bucket-style seats, a rear window defroster, intermittent windshield wipers, a tilt-telescopic steering wheel, a message center with a multi-functional setting against an LCD screen, and Ford infotainment system called SYNC.
The entry-level SYNC on the S features Applink, which pairs with your phone to provide on-demand connectivity. Using this feature you can listen to music, access maps and directions, make phone calls, and more. The SE trim is offered in a sedan and hatch version. The two models vary in cargo capacity and body style, but they share the same common features. The SE adds to the S list an enhanced infotainment system with navigation, a second USB charging port in the back, cruise control, a trip computer, and premium cloth seats.
The third trim level, called the ST-Line, adds to the list ambient interior lighting, a leather-wrapped steering wheel adorned with red accent stitching, remote entry, an overhead console, automatic air conditioning, and a premium SYNC 3 infotainment system. The ST adds a push-button start, a leather-wrapped wheel with custom trim stitching, a leather-wrapped shift knob, and a more advanced Sony sound system.
2019 Ford Fiesta Horsepower
The 2019 Ford Fiesta comes with two engines. The base engine, which is standard in all but the ST trim, is a 1.6L, four-cylinder engine with a power output of 120 HP. The second engine, which is available on the first three trims and standard on the ST, bumps up output to 200 HP. This engine, which is turbocharged for extra power, also provides more than 200 LB-FT of torque. Both engines are available with manual or automatic transmission.
The base engine comes standard with a five-speed manual transmission that has easy-shift gearing. A six-speed automatic transmission is optional. The turbocharged engine comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission. This engine also has torque vectoring and tighter steering to help you drive with confidence and control, even at higher speeds.
Ford Fiesta Safety
The 2019 Ford Fiesta offers plenty in the way of safety, too. Its standard safety amenities include reinforced steel columns by the doors to absorb energy from an impact, seven occupant airbags across the cabin, and seat belts with three-point pre-tensioners. The back row has child safety seat locks, and the Fiesta has a backup camera to check for objects as you're reversing. If you get into an accident, the Fiesta post-crash response system comes to your aid.
