How Does the 2019 Ford Explorer Perform?

For example, lower-level trims come with a 3.5-liter, Ti-VCT V6 engine that generates an impressive 255 foot-pounds of torque as well as 290 horsepower. The mid-level powertrain is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost, V6 engine, and it puts out 310 foot-pounds of torque along with 280 horsepower. The most powerful engine available for the 2019 Explorer is the 3.5-liter EcoBoost, V6 engine. If you select an Explorer with this powertrain, you will benefit from 350 foot-pounds for torque as well as 365 horsepower. Your Explorer for 2019 may also be equipped with hill start assist, an automatic transmission, terrain management control, trailer sway control, an independent front and rear suspension, hill start assist, electric power steering and hill descent control.
