High Performance Options

2018 Ford Edge FrontIn 2018, the Ford Edge has three engine options to choose from. The baseline is a 2-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 245 horsepower. It provides adequate power for normal commuter driving. The next step up is a 3.5-liter V6 engine that brings 280 horsepower to the Edge. This engine makes the Edge just as fast as many smaller cars in the sports category. The Edge Sport gets the most powerful engine option: a 2.7-liter V6 engine with all-wheel drive that packs 315 horsepower. This engine is sure to please any speed-loving driver when they feel the acceleration it delivers.
