2017 Ford F-150 Overview

Models & Features

Available in six trims - XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited - the F-150 can be outfitted with 5.5-, 6.5- and 8-foot beds. It also offered in three cab styles: regular, SuperCab and SuperCrew.

Across the lineup, there are a range of features designed to improve the driving experience. Trailer sway control, vinyl flooring, Sync voice control, Bluetooth, spray-in bedliners, rear privacy glass, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, remote tailgate releases and power-folding mirrors are just a few of the amenities offered on select models.

If you plan on using the 2017 Ford F-150 in Surprise for off-roading, you can also add on the FX4 Off-Road package, side steps, skid plates, a tailgate assist step or special tow packages. You can even go with the Ford Raptor model, which is equipped with off-road tires, long-travel suspension, skid plates, flared fenders, a special four-wheel drive system and unique interior trim.

Performance Offerings

Pumping out 325 horsepower and 375 lb.-ft. of torque, a 2.7L EcoBoost engine is the smallest displacement offered on the F-150. When properly equipped, it supports an 8,500-pound tow rating.

A 3.5L V6 is also available. It generates 282 horsepower and 253 lb.-ft. of torque, while backing a 7,600-pound tow rating.

A 385-horsepower 5.0L engine, outputting 387 lb.-ft. of torque, is another option. It gives the truck a max tow rating of 10,100 pounds and a payload rating of 3,270 pounds.

The last engine option is a 3.5L EcoBoost, producing 375 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. A max tow rating of 12,200 pounds is available with the powerplant.

Each of these engines are paired with either a brand-new 10-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed automatic.

Safety Options

Blind-spot monitoring, inflatable rear seatbelts, a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic parallel parking, lane departure warning, a rearview camera and rear parking sensors can be found on select models in the roster.
