Phoenix Ford Dealer Researches the New Flex
Many crossovers on the market seem to have an identity crisis, unable to decide if they are hatchbacks or sport utility vehicles, and failing at both. The 2015 Ford Flex takes a decidedly different approach to design that many 2015 Ford Flex reviews are calling retro-futuristic. The result is a vehicle that stands out stylistically and provides more comfort and space than many of its competitors.
Ford knows you spend more time inside your vehicle than outside. The vertical sides optimize storage space and give the Flex a feeling of openness. The straight roofline means headroom is well-reserved throughout the cabin.
The 2015 Ford Flex in Surprise is available in three trim levels: SE, SEL and Limited. The base SE model comes well-equipped, with a host of features that include power windows, mirrors and locks; capless fuel filling; and MyKey, (allowing owners to pre-program radio volume levels and vehicle speed, effectively extending parental control to protect younger drivers). In the top-of-the-line Limited trim, the Flex feels like a full-fledged luxury model. These models can get the EcoBoost turbo engine, all-wheel drive, a leather interior and a panoramic glass sunroof.
The fit and finish is excellent and soft-touch materials are found where the driver and front passenger most often put their hands. Seating is ample and comfortable. The interior is a highly functional and configurable. Beyond the third row seat is 20 cubic feet of cargo space. Folding down the third row yields 43.2 cubic feet and folding down the second provides an amazing 83.2 cubic feet.
2015 Ford Flex reviews note good handling and strong performance. The base 3.5-liter V-6 generates 287 hp, but the turbocharged, 365-hp EcoBoost leaves most other crossovers behind. Electric power steering gives the driver a more precise road feel, while a number of improvements keep the cabin much quiet and serene. Ride quality is superior.
Plush, powerful, versatile and stylish, the Flex stands apart from the crowd. See the 2015 Ford Flex for sale at Surprise Ford or continue reading our review below.
