Ford is a trailblazer in the automotive world and ranks among the planet's most iconic brands. Its quality vehicles have transformed both the U.S. and global markets. The next chapter focuses on expanding electric vehicle (EV) production.
Ford to Double EV Production
In a bold move, CEO Jim Farley revealed that Ford will double EV manufacturing this year, across its U.S. plants and international sites. The Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning are already built domestically and shipped worldwide. Annual EV production is about 100,000; by late 2025, Ford plans to hit 250,000.
Ford's Electric Vehicles
Leading the charge is the Mustang Mach-E, an SUV that combines dynamic performance with sleek styling. Available in several powertrain variants, it offers roughly 320 miles of range and remains one of the market's best-priced electric SUVs.
The F-150 Lightning also commands attention. It is the all-electric version of the F-150, and it delivers 240 miles of range, spirited acceleration, and substantial towing capacity.
