Austin Cindric Joins Ford Multimatic Motorsports for Rolex 24 at Daytona

NASCAR Cup Series driver Austin Cindric has been tapped to join the Ford Multimatic Motorsports team for the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona. He'll be stepping in for endurance driver Ben Barker, who broke his collarbone in a skiing accident over the holidays. Cindric will team up with Mike Rockenfeller and Sebastian Priaulx in the Ford Multimatic Motorsports Mustang GT3.

This will be Cindric's sixth time competing in the Rolex 24, and he is confident the Mustang GT3 will help him put up a strong showing.

Cindric, a Mooresville, NC native, is a NASCAR Cup Series race winner. One of his standout achievements was winning the 2022 Daytona 500 behind a Team Penske Mustang wheel. Before his NASCAR career, Cindric raced in several sports car series, gaining valuable experience in Ford vehicles like the Mustang GT4. He's also made four starts in the Michelin Pilot Challenge at Daytona with Multimatic Motorsports, including a 2019 win at Road Atlanta with Priaulx.

2025 marks 10 years since Cindric first raced for Multimatic and Ford at Daytona. The team is thrilled to welcome him back, and Cindric is eager to prepare for the race on January 26th.
