Xcel Energy's Electric Vehicle Supply Infrastructure plan explicitly outlines the creation of 30,000 new chargers by 2030, directly addressing concerns about charging station accessibility. While many fleet operators intend for their electric vehicles to be charged at their own stations, the installation costs often should be lowered. Consequently, the new plan includes reimbursement for charger installation costs and post-installation support for businesses. This reimbursement is currently applicable only in Colorado, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
