2018 Ford GT '67 Heritage Edition

Vroom, vroom! Ford just announced their flagship supercar, the 2018 Ford GT, will now be offered in a brand-new limited-edition Heritage model. The new car was built in honor of the GT40 Mark IV race car that was driven to victory at Le Mans in 1967 by the American team of A.J. Foyt and Dan Gurney.

Sporting special color themes on the outside and inside, as well as a one-of-a-kind wheel finish, the supercar is absolutely stunning at every angle. The gloss-finish Race Red exterior color scheme with red stripes adds extreme visual pop to the overall look of the vehicle. Other signature design cues, such as the 20-inch aluminum wheels with black lug nuts and Frozen White No. 1 hood and door graphics, exude fashionable flair.

Inside, the two-door car boasts a wide range of other signature design cues, including carbon fiber seats with red stitching, gray paddle shifters, red seat belt webbing and special door bezels. There’s also unique carbon fiber door sills and satin dark stainless appliqués on the well-laid-out instrument panel.

“The first Heritage edition car was a huge success, honoring our history with a modern interpretation of the Le Mans winner,” said Garen Nicoghosian, exterior design manager for the car. “Continuing with a 2018 Ford GT based on the winning GT40 Mark IV race car was simply something we needed to do.”
